An undercover video released earlier today shows a Planned Parenthood executive talking about the organization’s practice of selling organs that are harvested from aborted babies. Deborah Nucatola, the senior director of medical research at Planned Parenthood, describes the process by which abortionists will kill the fetus without damaging its internal organs.
Nucatola goes on to name dollar amounts for various organs. Planned Parenthood released a statement, asserting that its practice of donating organs is completely legal. However, under a law passed during the Reagan Administration, it is illegal to sell the organs of aborted fetuses.
“I would say it’s probably anywhere from $30 to $100, depending on the facility and what’s involved,” Nucatola says in the video. “It just has to do with space issues, are you sending someone there that’s going to be doing everything…is there shipping involved? Is someone going to be there to pick it up?”
In addition to the eight-minute version, The Center for Medical Progress has also published a three-hour video of the undercover conversation.
The story was initially picked up by The Blaze, OUTSET Magazine, and LifeNews, among others. The mainstream media has been slow to cover the story, although The Washington Post has published a rundown.
