All you need to know about staying at hotel apartments in Dubai

The realm of the seasoned business traveller – a visiting consultant or off-site employee who is in town for a couple of weeks and requires a convenient place to stay – has long been considered as serviced or hotel flats. One with some of the conveniences of home (like a kitchen, so you don’t have to order a grilled cheese sandwich from room service), as well as the creature comforts of home (so you aren’t thrown into the deep end of navigating a foreign city). Let’s have a look at the benefits of living in hotel apartments in Dubai.

What do you mean by a hotel apartment?

Hotel apartments provide a fully equipped kitchenette or a complete kitchen. Serviced apartments, apartment hotels, and full-service flats are just a few of the names given to hotel apartments in Dubai.

This implies that, unlike an impersonal hotel room, hotel flats enable guests/tenants to relax a little more – kick off your shoes, put on the TV, and start cooking supper, just like you would at home.

    Serviced apartments in Dubai

In certain situations, such as at Alef Residences, the residential tower is wholly independent from the adjoining W Hotel, which serves it. In some examples, such as the Sheraton Grand Hotel, the structure has both serviced apartments and standard hotel rooms, with the operator providing rental options for the flats of up to a year. Other hotel flats are not affiliated with a single hotel operator (and hence lack an alcohol licence), but they nonetheless provide the same level of service and facilities. You can find a number of hotel apartments in Marina.

Finally, and probably most crucially, the convenience with which you can handle errands – from room service to cleaning, laundry, and even post – while having the peace of mind that your monthly utility payments, such as DEWA or gas, are being taken care of. All you have to do is pay a monthly rent and everything else is taken care of. The majority of services are available 24 hours a day, in-house, and receiving mail is made simpler by the fact that most hotel apartments provide postal services (including the use of a P.O. Box and, of course, receiving and safeguarding courier goods while you’re at work).

    Better sense of living

In a fast-paced metropolis like Dubai, hotel flats provide residents with a sense of security that is difficult to match in more typical renting arrangements. The fact that renting a serviced apartment is significantly more flexible than renting a regular flat is one of the elements that attracts newcomers to Dubai.

Flats often come with one-year leases, strict exit clauses, and fines if you quit your tenancy early. With serviced accommodation, this is not the case. If you’re worried about living in a new location, job stability, or your five-year plan simply doesn’t allow for more than 10 months in Dubai, negotiating a favourable arrangement with a hotel apartment is significantly simpler than negotiating with a landlord who has his pick of renters.

    Conclusion

Another advantage is that you only need to pack a suitcase when you relocate. Hotel flats are furnished (with kitchen equipment, white goods, and, in most instances, silverware and linen), so all you have to do is bring your clothing – ideal if you don’t want to go shopping for furniture because you don’t have the desire, funds, or time. Even said, most hotel flats in Dubai are close to retail malls, metro stations, and major motorways, so it wouldn’t be an issue if you needed to!
