    Dr. Jordan Garrison Education and Background

    Dr. Jordan Garrison, M.D., FACS, FASMBS, started practicing Medicine 25 years ago. He is a certified Medical doctor who specializes in varicose veins. He graduated from The University of Medicine in New Jersey in 1982. Dr. Garrison later completed his General Surgery Residency Training at UMDNJ/ Newark, New Jersey, in 1989. He then joined Fellowship for Bariatric Surgery and completed in 2007.

    Before joining the School of Medicine, Dr. Garrison studied a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Lehigh University. The vein doc is a lecturer at Lehigh University, where he lectures Medicine related studies. He is a mentor to students who are interested in studying Medicine and helps in the recruitment of students of color to Lehigh University.

    Dr. Garrison has written an article on Bariatric Surgery, which is in the American Journal of Medicine. During his free time, Dr. Garrison coaches basketball to a team of college students in the spring, fall, and summer. Dr. Garrison has received positive reviews from his patients for empathy and compassion for his patients. He has a clinic in Hackensack, New Jersey, and welcomes all patients who are looking for a qualified vein doc.

    Dr. Garrison’s Medical Career at Metro Vein Centers

    Metro Vein Centers was started in 2006 by Dr. Ali Meslemani. It began as a treatment center for varicose veins. Metro Vein Centers specializes majorly in treating varicose veins and spider veins.     Dr. Garrison decided to become a vein doc for Metro Vein Centers because he wished to learn more about the circulatory system. Dr. Garrison believed that Metro Vein Centers was the best place to learn this since it is one of the best vein facilities in Hackensack, New Jersey. According to Dr. Garrison, a microscope needs to be continuously used in the laboratory to help in tracking changes taking place in his patients. Some of them include Sclerotherapy, Catheter-assisted procedures, Laser treatment, and Ambulatory phlebectomy. These treatment procedures should only be carried out by qualified physicians. Dr. Garrison helps in relieving his patients from the pain that comes as a result of varicose veins.

    Dr. Garrison also helps in getting rid of spider and varicose veins so that patients live a comfortable life. He helps patients understand how varicose veins develop. Some factors can trigger the occurrence of varicose veins and include; obesity, pregnancy complicated varicose veins, old age, and living sedentary lifestyles.
