One of the most important lessons when learning to drive is to park the car in reverse and small spaces without hitting the rubber parking blocks. This is because in the big cities the places where it is possible to leave your car are quite close together and if you are the Last in line to park you will surely have to carefully slide between two vehicles or between a car and a trash can or a cable protector ramp.

    Parking Without Causing Damage

The place is rarely going to depend on you. Still, it is essential that you only leave it in designated areas to park, or else you could receive the unpleasant visit of the crane with the respective fine that entails leaving your car in a place that does not It is authorized. If you do not need long-term parking, you can try renting the space in a building that has parking if yours does not have one, as those available on the street do not count.

Once this is clear, let’s see how to park in small spaces such as parking lots in shopping centers, airports, stadiums, or bus terminals.

The first thing is to drive a little further from the space you have seen for your car. Do not forget to turn on the turn signal to let those who come behind you know that you are going to park and avoid accidents. Also, make sure by the rearview mirrors that you have no pedestrians behind before starting to back off.

It is essential that you only park in places that you have on your right and avoid parking in areas that are across the street. First, because it will cost much more to do it on the first attempt, causing traffic jams and even a wake-up call from a police officer, and second because you can cause accidents. That said and once with the car in reverse, release the brake and press the accelerator carefully, so that it gives you time to maneuver if something gets in your way.
